RadSec Device Certificates

Register your WLC's certificate for secure RadSec authentication on port 2083.

How RadSec Works

RadSec (RFC 6614) provides encrypted RADIUS communication using TLS on port 2083.

  1. Option A: Generate a self-signed client certificate on your WLC (recommended for simple setups)
  2. Option B: If your organization has its own PKI, open a case to submit your CA for approval
  3. Register the certificate below by pasting the PEM (preferred) or entering the fingerprint
  4. Configure your WLC to use RadSec with the NetKey RADIUS server
